Right sciatic nerve schwannoma with complete ACL tear: A rare presentation

Sciatic nerve schwannoma is a rare disease, often misdiagnosed as sciatica in patients with no prolapsed disc the lumbar spine and negative straight leg raise test. MRI followed by biopsy investigation of choice. We present case 45-year-old male 2-year-old history right lower limb radiculopathy 2 months old ACL tear. revealed sciatic mass which was confirmed to be on FNAC. reconstruction done excision using cable grafts. Post-operative histopathological examination reconfirmed Schwannoma. This has been highlighted highlight unusual manifestations prevent its misdiagnosis delayed treatment.
